Abstract: In this paper, it introduced the overview of STP protocol, analyzed the realization process of the SPA algorithm, and pointed out the shortcomings of STP protocol, then it described the improved STP protocol. Moreover, it put forward two improved methods of the STP protocol in the actual operation process and the actual application situation of the coal mine construction projects, which provided a feasible solution for coal mine network redundancy improvement.
