    Experimental Study on Acoustic Emission Characteristic of Raw Coal Failure Under Splitting Test and Uniaxial Compression

    • 摘要: 对劈裂和单轴压缩条件下原煤损伤破坏全过程的声发射特征规律进行了对比研究。研究表明,单轴压缩破坏时,加载初期声发射信号较少;在弹性变形阶段后期和塑性变形阶段,声发射信号呈剧烈增加趋势;声发射能量和声发射脉冲数在破坏阶段达到最大值。劈裂试验时,在裂纹的加速非线性弹性变形阶段开始产生声发射信号;声发射能量和脉冲数在破坏阶段达到最大值;但是与单轴压缩相比,劈裂试验下声发射信号出现较晚,声发射能量较低,脉冲数较大;未观察到与单轴压缩实验类似的“裂隙压密”阶段声发射脉冲数较高的现象。

       

      Abstract: The characteristics laws of acoustic emission for the whole coal failure process under splitting test and uniaxial compression were studied comparatively. The results show that, in the process of uniaxial compression, acoustic emission signals are relatively few at the beginning of the stress, which increases dramatically during the late elastic and plastic deformation stages. The signals are the strongest during the failure stage. In the process of splitting test, acoustic emission signals are detected during the crack accelerated non-linear elastic deformation stage, the energy and pulse numbers are in the peak during the failure stage. However, the acoustic emission signal has a time lag. Compared with the uniaxial compression, acoustic emission signals produce later in the process of splitting test, the energy of acoustic emission is relatively lower while the pulse numbers of acoustic emission increase relatively. In addition, the pulse number is larger during fracture compaction stage in the uniaxial compression whereas the similar phenomenon has not been observed in the splitting test.
