    Numerical Simulation of Sand Drain Consolidation Settlement for Saturation Clay Foundation in a Certain Dump

    • 摘要: 依据太沙基固结理论,利用解析解,对单向饱和黏土加载后的超静孔压、沉降量随时间的变化特征进行计算,采用FLAC3D中的渗流模块进行了相同条件下黏土模型加载后的超静孔压消散流固耦合模拟,并与太沙基解析解进行对比。结果表明,单向固结条件下,用FLAC3D模拟饱和土的固结沉降值,与其解析解十分吻合,可采用该渗流模块来模拟排土场固结沉降问题。在排土场地基中设置竖向砂井,基于砂井固结法进行了超静孔压消散模拟,将排土场地基处理前后固结沉降达到稳定的时间进行了对比。模拟结果表明,地基经过砂井处理后,固结时间明显缩短,对露天矿排土工作的接续有显著作用。

       

      Abstract: Based on Terzaghi consolidation theory, for a saturated dump foundation, the variation of excess pore water pressure and settling volume with time under unidirectional loading was calculated by using analytical solution. At the same time, the fluid-structure interaction during settlement in this foundation was simulated with seepage module in FLAC3D. Results showed that the settlement volume from FLAC3D was consistent with that from analytical solution under unidirectional consolidation, indicating that the seepage module could be reliable to simulate consolidation settlement in dump foundation. Then, a vertical sand drain was added in dump foundation, and the dissipation simulation of excess pore water pressure was done based on sand drain consolidation method. Results showed that the consolidation time was markedly shorted after sand drain treated compared with natural settlement, which meant sand drain in dump foundation could greatly promote open-pit mine continuing production.
