    Determination of Upper Elevation at the First Mining Face in the South Mining Area of Qidong Coal Mine

    • 摘要: 祁东煤矿南部采区水文地质条件复杂,处于古谷口冲洪积扇沉积区内,底部含水层(四含)直接覆盖于煤系地层之上,祁东煤矿在浅部工作面的开采过程中,均出现不同程度的突水现象。因此,合理留设顶板煤岩柱,对于南部采区首采工作面的开采具有十分重要的作用。采用公式法和类比法预算南翼采区首采面应留设的煤岩柱高度。

       

      Abstract: Hydrogeological conditions in the south mining area of Qidong Coal Mine is complex, it is in ancient alluvial fan deposition zone, the aquifers (four seams) at the bottom directly overlies the coal-bearing strata. There are different degrees of water inrush phenomenon in Qidong Coal Mine during the mining process in the shallow face. Therefore, a reasonable roof pillar setting has a very important role for coal mining at the first mining face in the southern mining area. The paper used formula method and analogy method to calculate the height of coal pillar at the first mining face in south wing.
