    Study on Reasonable Adsorption Equilibrium Time of Anthracite Based on COMSOL Simulation

    • 摘要: 为研究《煤的甲烷吸附量测定方法(高压容量法)》(MT/T752-1997)标准中测试瓦斯吸附常数的吸附平衡时间(第1个点吸附平衡7 h,当压力大于0.5 MPa后每个压力点吸附平衡4 h)是否能够使吸附能力强的无烟煤真正达到吸附平衡,通过COMSOL软件建立模型,模拟瓦斯在煤内的吸附扩散过程,从而研究无烟煤达到吸附平衡所需时间。研究表明,对于无烟煤,标准中规定的吸附平衡4 h并不足以使瓦斯完全吸附在煤的孔隙中,测试无烟煤的瓦斯吸附常数时,应延长其吸附平衡时间。对同一种煤(无烟煤)的软煤和硬煤,软煤的孔隙比硬煤发达,瓦斯若要进入更小的微孔隙内,分子扩散阻力越来越大,所需平衡时间越来越长,因此,在同一吸附压力下,软煤达到吸附平衡的时间比硬煤长。

       

      Abstract: In order to study the adsorption equilibrium time of gas adsorption constant (adsorption equilibrium 7 h in first point, and then 4 h when the pressure is higher than 0.5 MPa) in the criterion of "Determine method of methane adsorption capacity in coal (high-pressure volumetric method)( MT/T752-1997)", the method is used to make the anthracite achieve real adsorption equilibrium. The COMSOL software is adopted to simulate the gas adsorption diffusion process to investigate the adsorption equilibrium time of anthracite. The results show that the adsorption equilibrium 4 h is not enough to make gas adsorbed in the pores of anthracite completely, the adsorption equilibrium time should be extended when testing the gas adsorption constant of anthracite. Meanwhile, for the same coal (anthracite) including soft coal and hard coal, the soft coal porosity is more developed that hard coal. If the gas enters the smaller micro-pores, the molecular diffusion resistance will be bigger and bigger, and the equilibrium time required will be longer and longer. Therefore, the adsorption equilibrium time of soft coal is longer than the time of hard coal under the same adsorption pressure.
