Abstract: The steel wire rope plays a vital role in the process of elevating for mine.How to choose the wire rope and how to estimate the breaking force of wire rope are the problems must be confronted for users.Basing on detailed analysis of the data from the test of breaking force for wire rope,the paper puts forward the estimation method of breaking force,sets up the calculation model,and provides the important reference of safety usage.
