    Evolution Laws of Abutment Pressure in the Period of Working Face Heading to Normal Fault

    • 摘要: 以正断层赋存条件下厚煤层开采为研究背景,采用FLAC3D数值模拟,研究了上、下盘工作面分别向正断层推进时支承应力演化规律,揭示了工作面向正断层开采的致灾规律。研究表明:断层带切割了顶底板岩层的完整性,采动应力的阻隔效应显著,致使断层煤柱易形成较高的应力集中区;下盘向正断层推进时,存在支承应力突增点,使断层煤柱发生塑性破坏,释放大量弹性能;上盘向正断层推进时,支承应力平缓增加,且推进过程中部分应力能够向下盘转移,在下盘形成较小应力集中区,应力曲线呈现一大一小“双驼峰”状。

       

      Abstract: Taking the thick seam mining near the normal fault as research background, we use FLAC3D numerical simulation to study the evolution laws of abutment pressure with the working face heading to normal fault, and reveal the laws of disasters caused by normal fault mining. The results show that the integrity of the roof and floor strata is cut by the fault zone and the barrier effect of mining stress is significantly, which leads to the high stress of the fault coal pillar. When the footwall is advancing to normal faults, there is a suddenly increases of bearing stress, making the fault coal pillar emerge plastic failure and release a large number of elastic energy. When hanging wall is advancing to normal faults, the bearing stress increases gently and partial bearing stress can transfer to footwall, then a smaller stress concentration zone on the footwall is developed. The bearing stress curve presents a large and small "double hump" shape.
