Abstract: Down-the-hole hammer and following drilling technology is a kind of drilling technology which has developed gradually in recent years. It has many advantages, such as fast drilling speed, high efficiency, high porosity, dry drilling and low hole slope. Through summarizing the construction method, operation procedure and precautions of this technology in the mine borehole grouting project, we have accumulated valuable experience for similar projects in the future. It not only reduces the overall capital investment of the fire prevention project, but also plays a vital role in the control effect of the fire prevention by grouting.
