Abstract: In order to evaluate the roadway support system, we introduce the definition of fragility and fragility assessment into the roadway support system, and establish the fragility evaluation index system of the roadway support system. According to the basic model, the weights of the fragility indexes are determined by the analytic hierarchy process （ＡＨＰ）, and the model of fragility evaluation of the roadway support system is obtained. According to the model of fragility evaluation of roadway support system, the fragile degrees of roadways in some mining areas are obtained.
