    Effect of High Temperature on Strength Characteristics of Sandstone

    • 摘要: 为了研究高温对砂岩强度的影响,利用中国科学院武汉岩土力学研究所XTR01岩石力学试验机对200~1 000 ℃高温处理后的砂岩开展三轴压缩试验,研究砂岩物理力学特性与温度和围压的关系。试验结果表明:砂岩的三轴抗压强度和弹性模量都随温度的升高呈现先增大后减少的变化规律,在600 ℃时达到最大值;三轴抗压强度和弹性模量随围压的增大而线性增加。由此得出600 ℃是砂岩的1个阀值温度。

       

      Abstract: To study the effect of high temperature on strength of sandstone, the relationship between the physical and mechanical properties of sandstone and its temperature and confining pressure was studied by using XTR01 rock mechanics testing machine to carry out triaxial compression test of sandstone after high temperature treatment from 200 ℃ to 1 000 ℃. The results show that compressive strength and elastic modulus of sandstone increase as the temperature increases before 600 ℃, then decrease with the increasing temperature, and reach the maximum value at 600 ℃ and with the increasing of confining pressure, compressive strength and elastic modulus increases linearly. It is concluded that 600 ℃ is a threshold temperature.
