    Characteristics of Methane Micro-seepage in Low-rank Coal Pores of Ordos Basin

    • 摘要: 为了获取煤体真实微观孔隙结构,揭示孔隙系统中瓦斯的微观渗流特性,针对鄂尔多斯盆地低阶煤进行了X-ray μCT扫描实验,重构并表征了微观孔隙空间结构,对孔隙连通团进行了逆向优化和数值建模,开展了瓦斯微观渗流数值模拟,探讨了瓦斯微观渗流特性。结果表明:煤微观孔隙结构存在很强的非均质性,形状接近球形;孔隙形状因子与等效直径之间具有指数关系;羊场湾褐煤内部发育有大的微裂隙,而斜沟气煤内部微裂隙数量少,局部存在多个孔隙团;渗流孔隙大小并不是决定瓦斯渗流性能的唯一因素,更多依赖于其连通性;瓦斯压力在同一孔隙的非均匀性体现出渗流对方向的选择性。

       

      Abstract: In order to obtain the true micro-pore structure of the coal seams and reveal the micro-seepage characteristics of methane in the pore system, X-ray μCT scanning experiment was carried out for low-rank coal in Ordos Basin. The micro-pore space structure was reconstructed and characterized. The connected pores were reversely optimized and numerically modeled. Numerical simulation of methane micro-seepage was used to explore its characteristics. The results show that: the micro-pore structure of coal has strong heterogeneity, and its shape is close to spherical. There is an exponential relationship between the pore shape factor and the equivalent diameter. There are large micro-fissures in Yangchangwan Mine brown coal, while the number of micro-fissures in Xiegou Mine gas coal is small, and there are multiple pore groups in the local area. Seepage pore size is not the only factor that determines the seepage performance of methane, but more depends on its connectivity. The non-uniformity of methane pressure in the same pore reflects the selective direction of seepage flow.
