Abstract: Based on the identification methods analysis in coal and gas outburst identification standard, combining gas geology theory, the paper puts forward identification unit division. Considering the geological structure, development characteristics of tectonic coal, rock structural petrological characteristics and burial depth and other factors on the identification of coal and gas outburst unit division, the paper puts forward the method of dividing identification unit.
