    Micro-seismic Monitoring and Numerical Simulation for Rock Burst at Mining Face Along Gob in Deep Shaft

    • Taking mining face along gob in deep shaft as background, micro-seismic monitoring and FLAC3D numerical simulation were introduced to study mining influence scope and the rock burst risk areas of the mining face along gob. The space-time evolution laws of micro-seismic events were studied for the rock rupture of rock mass during the changing process of the mining stress field, and the following conclusions were obtained. The height of rock mass fracture reaches its maximum at the gob side of the mining face along gob, which is approximately half of the sum of the two short gob sides; the mining influence scope along gob side is two times higher than another side of the mining face; the pressure along gob side is in a high stress state, there is the risk of rock burst.
