    Matching Experiment and Its Characteristics of Thixotropic Cement Paste Material

    • In order to improve the defects that grouting materials are difficult to control and resources are wasted seriously in goaf, it is inspired by the contact characteristics of drilling fluid in oil and gas fields, thixotropic agents were added to the conventional cement grouting materials, and a new type of goaf grouting material was developed. Thixotropic cement slurry can lose its fluidity rapidly under extremely low velocity or static conditions, and thus rapidly accumulate and solidify in the large cavity in the goaf to strengthen the goaf. The basic properties of the slurry, such as thixotropy and compressive strength, were tested. The thixotropy was expressed by the static shear force method. The experiment shows that the slurry has strong thixotropy and the ratio is reasonable. The compressive strength of the stone body reached 1 MPa at 3 days, and the compressive strength reached 3 MPa at 7 days. It can meet the strength requirements of goaf accumulation.
