    Engineering Response Characteristic and Stability Control of Surrounding Rock Mass Plastic Zone in Ultra-high Roadway

    • Taking the ultra-high roadway(7.5 m high) appeared in the process of roadway excavation in a mine of Shanxi as research object,engineering response characteristics of surrounding rock mass plastic zone of roadway height between 3.5~7.5 m is simulated with FLAC3D.Transformation process of surrounding rock destruction type in the change of roadway height is described. Key parts, support ideas of rock mass are also analyzed, and the supporting technology are proposed. The results of engineering practice prove that the guiding ideology and support technology are suitable to the ultra-high roadway, the specific parameters depend on different geological conditions.
