Numerical Simulation of Airflow Laws at Heading Face Based on the ANSYS Software

    • Forced local ventilation is widely used in coal mine heading face, end position of fan drum is not far away from the heading face. ANSYS was used to simulate the local ventilation of Shanmu Coal Mine. Simulating results showed that 4 m3/s air volume disturbed head-space obviously than 5 m3/s air volume, 4 m3/s air volume is better for gas drainage and money saving. Air volume velocity and energy distribution and the influence of which on ventilation vortex status from the working face head-on the 8 m position were researched. Finally, x axis wind velocity of fracture surface was researched to confirm that fan drum was better installed above the working face for gas drainage.
