Experiments Research on Characters of K₁ Coal Spontaneous Combustion in Zhongliangshan South Coal Mine

Coal sample was collected from Zhongliangshan South Coal Mine for experiment and relative experiments on coal spontaneous combustion. Coal oxidation warming process was studied and analyzed, from which quantity of static oxygen absorption was measured, and CO was mainly adopted as gas index for monitoring coal self-ignition, assisted with C₂H₄. Mathematical model was built, from which minimal time of coal self-ignition was fifty-one days.
